Goal and Specific objectives
FUTURE4PRIMA’s primary goal is to fostering collaboration among the R&I funding bodies of the 16 PRIMA Participating States, broadening PRIMA’s thematic scope through advocating an integrated resource management approach in the ecosystems, energy, and health sectors, thus advancing PRIMA’s commitment to sustainable water management and food systems.
This holistic strategy is in consistant with the European Green Deal (EGD) and actively contributes to the United Nations Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Advancing R&I: FUTURE4PRIMA's Impact on Global Cooperation and Innovation
In terms of policy influence, FUTURE4PRIMA is poised to shape regulatory frameworks to enhance R&I cooperation effectively.
It aims to strengthen the international dimension of the European Research Area (ERA), to align national regulations conducive to improved research and innovation international cooperation aligned with Europe’s global approach to cooperation in research and innovation.
Additionally, FUTURE4PRIMA is committed to fast-tracking the market introduction of innovative solutions and invigorating innovation ecosystems, particularly in widening regions and the southern Mediterranean.
Project Partners
This ambitious project comprises 21 partners from 16 diverse countries:
- 10 EU MS, including six EU Widening Countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Portugal),
- 3 Horizon Europe Associated Countries (Tunisia, Turkey, Israel)
- 3 Southern Mediterranean Third countries (Jordan, Egypt, Morocco).
